Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'll be brief Alexander the Great (356-323 BC), King of Macedonia 1 - People called him "great" because he was so young and he cried when he conquered India because he could not conquer anymore!. He was also very yonug when he became King and started conquering!. Mainly because he was a yonug military genius!. 2 - He was accomplished in battle and was in charge if Philip was absent of the army at the age of 16!. He was a great fighter!. He established his authority over Greece, mroe like re-asserted when his ftaher king Phillip died!. from there he became superior ruler of Macedonia and Greece!. At the age of 22, he led a combined force of 40,000 Maceons and Greeks to fight agaisnt the mighty Persian Empire which ruled alot but was also in a decline!. He defeated the persian Empire but he was too fast and so later he grew a fever and died!. He was let's say too ahead of himself!. He however was a rgeat strategist, though losing a lot of his army agaisnt the Persians because he ahd foguth them for so long and didn't return to his homeland!. He hwoeevr led campaigns yo ucan search on google!. He defeated the Persian Empire and thus wa sknown as "Great"!. becaus eof his "great" military achievements!. He died yonug however, the real cause unkown but the main theory of an illness!. Follwoing his death, four of his msot promneent Generals split the emprie and argued who would rule!. They weren't as talented as the Three Kingdoms of China (known as Romance of The Three Kingdoms, Shu, Wu and Wei)!. They sort of slowly dwindled and did;nt do much and the enxt Empire became the Romans later on!.
