What a colossal waste of time!. There is NO EVIDENCE of any conspiracy in the assassination of JFK!. For instance are you aware of the following irrefutable facts surrounding JFK's assassination:
1!. In 45 years one and only one rifle has been found and it was matched to Lee Harvey Oswald and no one else!. In addition his finger and palm prints were lifted from it and no one elses' prints have ever been recovered from his rifle!.
2!. In 45 years ALL bullets and bullet fragments have ONLY matched those fired from Oswald's rifle and and no one elses' rifle!.
3!. ALL entrance wounds to both Kennedy and Connally were from the rear with Kennedy's clothing being pushed INWARD in the back and OUTWARD in the front!.
4!. ALL bullet fragments were recovered from in FRONT of Kennedy and Connally thus totally disproving ANY shot eminating from the right front (grassy knoll)!.
5!. Oswald was the ONLY employee to leave the building and not return later in the afternoon!. Instead he left work, went home, grabbed a revolver, and then shot and killed Officer J!.D!. Tippit within an hour of the assassination of Kennedy!.
6!. Oswald was witnessed carrying a long brown package into work, which package was later found to match the paper taken from the TSBD earlier in the week, and which paper had creases that matched PERFECTLY the disassembled rifle of Oswald's and which package contained Oswald's palm and finger print and NO ONE elses!.
7!. There is not one credible witness that can place a gunman anywhere at the time of the shooting!. But remember, that if there WERE other gunman, they never hit Kennedy with any bullets did they, since no other bullets have ever been recovered, either then or now!.
8!. Oswald was witnessed at the time he fired the third shot at Kennedy by an eyewitness across the street from the Texas School Book Depository!.


So why on earth would you want to waste your time listening to theories for which there is not one credible scrap of evidence!?


Here, let me give you some other topics you can look for information to support:

1!. The Brazilans were the real pilots that bombed Pearl Harbor!.
2!. Abraham Lincoln was really Asian!.
3!. Albert Einstein stole his theory of relativity from W!.E!.B!. Du Bois!.
4!. World War I never really happened!.
5!. The Holocaust REALLY consisted of Jews killing Nazis!.


These five ridiculous claims are just as vaild as the claim that there was a conspiracy behind the Kennedy assassination!.

I think Lee Harvey Oswald was working for the Russians, and the Russians planned the whole thing!. But once they realized that the CIA had to cover it all up to prevent the US people demanding war with the USSR!. The CIA and the Government knew that nobody could win that war, which would end in nuclear annihilation!. So they pretended it was a lone gunmen!. Think about the CIA and the Bay of Pigs Invasion!. He inherited that plan from Ike (it was a brain child of VP Nixon)!. Ike said "No" to the idea, siting that it did not meet his criteria: There was no recognized government in exile that the people would willingly follow!.

Kennedy took one look at the plan and fell in love!. He set it all up, pulled the A-26's out of the bone yards of Pima, sent them south of the border to have them refurbished and brought up to snuff and recruited a number of WW II/Korean War vet!.s to oversee and fly the operations!.

As time drew near, brother Bobby (the Attorney General -- talk about cronyism) and SecDef McNamara began to have doubts!. They kept remembering the U-2 incident over Russia!. They were finally able to talk Kennedy out of doing this (sort of)!. Kennedy first called into the office, the Sec!. of the Navy and told him to have the Navy stand down from the support side of the whole operation!. They were to remain on station, but were to ignore any and all radio transmissions!. Afer having dismissed the SecNav, he then called in the head of CIA Op!.s and told him that the mission was still on as planned!. It took all of 4 days but in the end, all 2510 men who'd launched expecting support from the Navy ships sitting within eye sight, were killed on the beaches!.

Think maybe the CIA was a little miffed about his handling of the operation and his lieing and getting so many killed wasn't just a little motive!? And what about all of the families of those Cuban discidents down in Miami he'd recruited to launch the invasion!? Think maybe they weren't just a little upset!? And then there is both Castro and the organized mob!. Everyone it seems had considerable cause!. But the CIA folks had means as well as motive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you want a new angle, why not discuss the innumerable reasons why so many people had cause to want to see JFK dead that one can support almost any conspiracy theory form a motive standpoint!.

You've got the CIA and his war with them, not to mention CIA's history of at least a dozen assassinations and coups around the world between 1953 and November 1963 - hell, they had just helped off Diem twenty days earlier and at the same time were working on taking out Qasim in Iraq and replacing him with the Baath party and eventually their golden boy Saddam Hussein!.
You've got the FBI and his war with J Edgar Hoover!.
You've got LBJ
You've got the Mafia (and myriad of motives the various Families had, from Momo Gianancia sharing women with him, to his double cross of those who stole the election for him, to his double cross of Jimmy Hoffa, to the CIA allies for whom they had down so many valuable services of both wet work and dry, to Papa Joe's former associates who Jack's daddy had ripped off failed to show proper respect)
There's the drug dealers from whom he got his illegal dope when the legal stuff he was getting from Max "Dr!. Feelgood" Jacobs didn't take him to where he wanted to go and their fear that he and Bobby would turn on them!.
There's the Joint Chiefs and his ongoing war with them!.
Dick Nixon proved what he was capable of and Dickie still wanted the White House!.
Jackie still loved her power and position, but she certainly had ample reason!.
The Civil Rights leaders he betrayed clearly had motive
The Cuban exiles he sold down the river with his platitudes and lies had even greater motive!.
Castro and the loyal Cubans for the Bay of Pigs, the multiple assassination attempts, the coup attempts and the embargo!. Kennedy's actions forced Castro to turn to the Soviets and to agree to allow the missiles to be installed, after all!. Since the USSR only put the missiles on Cuba because the Kennedy refused to remove US missile from Turkey (targeted at Moscow and other prime sites), when Khrushchev got Kennedy to blink by offering to remove his immediately on the condition that Kennedy remove ours within since months and to stop trying to kill Castro, to overthrow his government and to not invade again, the crisis was over!. Castro knew a lie when he heard on and he was more than a little miffed when his protection was stripped and anyhow, the embargoes that had crippled his economy, bankrupted his people and his nation and was slowing starving his island were still in place!.
Diem's displaced strongmen and CIA trained Death Squads probably would have done it for kicks, forget all the valid reasons they had!.
Soviet hardliners worried about the rapport growing between JFK and Khrushchev - Jack would have been an easier target although they did run a successful coup against Nikita in '64!.


Then there are those who could have targeted him not as a person but as POTUS:
Choose your Middle Eastern faction as retaliation for the US replacing Mosaddeq with the Shah and then creating and training SAVAK
Allies of Sihanouk for what CIA was doing in Cambodia!.
Any of the Laotian factions against whom JFK and Ike before him were engaging in their series of coups and secret war
Allies of Sukarno who were aware that CIA was working on Suharto to take over (unlikely Sukarno himself would have had knowledge or given consent!. He was the type of reformist that CIA removed around the world and generally the death squads and regimes of terror didn't come into play until after the CIA coup succeeded and their hand-picked successors took power)
You have a handful of deposed Latin American rulers with a grudge over CIA booting them out!. You have millions of Latin American civilians who were living in constant fear of the death and torture squads trained by CIA who were roaming the countryside and killing and torturing for sport as to protect the lives and power of despots installed by CIA for whom they worked!.
Ho Chi Minh and the Viet Minh had had more than ample reason since the days that FDR stabbed them in the back at Yalta and Tehran back in the days we called them freedom fighters and they were our allies!. The double cross by Harry Truman at Tokyo Bay in 1945 added fuel to the fire and they must have been really steamed by Harry got them again in 1946!. Of course, Ike just through gas on the fire in '54 and '56, not to mention the efforts of Eddie Lansdale to take Ho out one way or another through at least 1958!. Ho was one domino that Ike just could not make fall!.
Papa Doc was smart enough to know that just because CIA him in power didn't mean they'd let him stay there!. He saw what happened to Trujillo in Peru, after all!. Armas wasn't blind in Guatemala, either!.

So many candidates!. So many good reasons!. Given JFK's real record, real persona, real accomplishments (or lack thereof), as opposed to the myth that has been built up around him, whoever did the deed probably did the nation a service!.

A better paper would be one on who DIDN'T want to see Kennedy in the ground!.

To the day he died, brother Bobby always believed the Joint Chiefs, the CIA, the Mafia, the Cuban exiles and the FBI had a hand in it!. Of course, the same folks who wanted Jack gone had every bit as much reason to want to see Bobby gone as well, but we won't go there unless you want to do a paper that connects the two, which of cours may be highly probable!. With so many people with so many reasons, I would find it strangely ironic that Oswald did it all by his lonesome, but that is a credible as anything else!.

Doc: CIA estimates projected failure of Nixon's Bay of Pigs Plan unless US naval and air support backed it up!. It was approved under Ike but not authorized!. When they briefed JFK in, they didn't tell him about their projections!. JFK authorized the plan with the express caveat that he would not authorize US military aid!. They still didn't tell him but went ahead!. They also forgot to tell him that they had incontrovertible proof that the Soviets had gotten hold of the plans, right down to the date, time, troop levels and landing sites!. Still they went ahead!. A few years ago I ran across a book that contained summaries of the known Kennedy assassination theories!. As I recall there were some 40 odd!.

Commenting on the various theories, one critic stated that the grassy knoll was quite "crowded with gunmen," and none saw the others!

I prefer the "Umbrella Man" theory!. There is a person captured in a number of photos and films of the assassination!. He's holding a black umbrella!. (open on s sunny day with no rain!) The theory is that a gun was concealed by the umbrella and provided a clear shot over the heads of the crowd!.

Impossible!? Not supported by facts!? The theory is contradicted by other facts!? That's the problem with all the Kennedy assassination theories!. All suffer from problems with facts!.

When you do your research, remember that the author of each theory has invested a great deal of time, money and prestige in "his" theory!. They will not take kindly to anyone that pokes holes in "their" theory!.

Another thing to keep in mind is the saying "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!." Most theorists present their case then demand someone else prove otherwise!. That's just the opposite of the scientific method!. Put it this way: A light in the sky is just that, a light!. Someone can claim it's the Starship Enterprise, however the burden to prove their claim is on them, not us!. It's the same with the theories!.

Most published theories contained a phrase similar to: "Supposed a gunman carried an umbrella!.!.!." a few pages later this becomes: "The gunman with the umbrella gun selected a location!.!.!." See how "suppose" suddenly became "fact"!?

There was an early claim that the bolt-operated rifle could not be reloaded fast enough!. The theory ran that it took so many seconds to work the bolt, loading the rifle!. Three shots totaled so much time!. The President was in range for less then that time!. "Therefore a second gunman was there!." However, the theory required that the gunman start with an unloaded rifle!. The President would come into range, the rifle would be loaded, etc!. Once one started with a loaded weapon, there suddenly was enough time!.

The "magic bullet" theory is popular!. Theories that use this claim the bullet that hit the two men had to change direction after hitting Kennedy, shift to the right several inches; then pass through Connely!. This ignores the known seating arrangements and positions of the two men at impact!. In fact I watched a TV special this year where they reenacted the shooting!. The same type of weapons, same ammo lot and same distance and speeds!. The bullet impacts were within an inch or two of the actual wounds!.

One witness that claims to have heard shots from the grassy knoll also claims to have run across the street and up to the knoll!. Pictures of her show her standing in the same spot and never crossing the street!. She also claims Kennedy turned and waved to her!. The photos disprove this!.

Photos of a supposed gunman positioned on the grassy knoll have been analyzed!. What some theorists claim to be a man standing is really an object only 18 inches high!.

Most Kennedy theories require a vast complex conspiracy to operate!. It's amazing that such a conspiracy has lasted 40 years!. After all, it was impossible for a President to conceal an affair in the White House!

Belief in a conspiracy benefits the theorists!. After all they can always claim that the cover-up has removed the very evidence needed to "prove" their theory!. To explain this further, remember the saying: "It's a total fiction and so can never be disprove!" Most theories of the assassination claim that the truth is going to come out, soon, just wait, they promise, really!. Put it this way, a lack of evidence isn't proof of something!.

So, keep a healthy dose of skepticism, use critical thinking and start your research with these sites:
