The invasions began feudalism, as they led to the 'caste system' which represented the social order of the Middle Ages!. The Germanic invaders became the upper class, as they were the only ones allowed to bear arms!.

However, the invaders were quickly assimilated!. Though many invaders were Arian Christians, they soon adopted Catholicism (like their subjects)!. Their language also dissappeared, (except in Britain), as French, Spanish, or Italian languages have only about 300 words that come from German!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
