Apart from the economy, crime, and rap music, this is a much better time than the 1970's and 80's!. Unless you meant the 1870's and 80's!. The internet is faster than it was a few years ago but still way too slow compared to what it should be at this point!. We still run vehicles on the same basic technology that we used 100 years ago!. TVs have gotten bigger and more clear but there's nothing on worth watching so it's not an advancement!. Anyone who plays a lot of video games has too much time on their hands anyway, they should worry less about realistic graphics and more about getting out into the actual real world!. In the 80s there was far less government intrusions into our lives so there was more opportunity and you didn't see all bad news every time you read a newspaper or turned on the TV!. I'd give up our sad little outdated technologies for simpler, more fun times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I already lived through the 70's and 80's!. I like moving forward!. I remember when cable first became available!. I remember when radios and calculators got smaller and smaller!. I remember pong and atari!. I even remember computers with tape drives!. But it was fun the first time but not worth a return trip!. Www@QuestionHome@Com The technologies were not as good as today but the economy was much better so i would go back in a heartbeat!.
