germans lost WWI!. the allied powers placed full responsibility on germany for the war and they were forced to pay tons of money as repreations!. as a result, the germans got really mad and used the jews as a scapegoatWww@QuestionHome@Com

If you look back through history, Jews have always been presecuted for one reason or another!. Now, about Germans hating Jews!.

First off, Germans don't hate Jews!. Hitler did!. Now put yourself in a position of a German during the 1920s/30s!. You're poor and hungry, Germany is going through its own great depression and as a whole nation, your nationalism has been shot down!. Your country has been blamed for virtually everything that happened in WWI and you can't even build up your own army!. But then you have this charismatic leader who tells you, its not your fault but the jews! (Side-note: Actually, the jewish pop!. in Germany didn't suffer as much during the depression!. I guess they took better care of their money)!.

So its more or so a matter of blaming the problems of Germany (Hitler's doing) on the Jews!. The holocaust was a result of the Nazis not knowing what to with all the Jews they rounded up and finally deciding to just get rid of them, so they can create a pure race!.

The Germans were not the first to hate Jews!. The great Diaspora is the event that caused many Jews to flee from their homelands in the highlight of the Roman era!. The Jews have been despised since the beginnings of Judaism!. And when Christianity became a recognized religion, they suffered even more!.

But the main reasons could be attributed to Hitler's use of propaganda against Jews!. They were the most numbered when it came to financial institutes and medicine!. So naturally people thought they had a monopolization over such things!. Even today you get the stereotype of Jews being great at accounting and money management!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
