Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
1!. Don't know, but I personally doubt it!.

2!. This seems more the creation of Hollywood!. But I suppose it's possible!.

3!. This is a kind of yes and no answer!. Yes the stolen gold is bound to still be around, although less likely to be passed down through the generations in the family lines of those who stole it!. No, it's probably not going to be as it originally was!. If the thieves were smart they would have sold it as quickly as possible or even melted it down!. In any event, over the centuries what was stolen would most likely have been melted down eventually!. Very little of the stolen gold would have reached modern times in it's original form I expect!.

4!. Don't actually know!. The Valley of the Kings, which is where Tut was buried, is known to contain 63 tombs, but I don't think anyone knows exactly how many tombs are really in it!. While the Valley of the Kings is where principally Pharaohs were buried, there's also the Valley of the Queens, whose ancient name means "the place of the Children of the Pharaoh!." It's where Queen's and Pharaoh's kids were buried!. There's at least 88 tombs in the Valley of the Queens!.

Then you've got the pyramids, which were built during the two earlier Egyptian kingdoms (Ancient Egypt being broken into three kingdoms, the Old, Middle, and New; Tut was part of the New Kingdom) and were the precursors to the tombs in the Valley of the Kings!. The Giza Complex contains the three major pyramids (the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre which is the second largest of the three, and the Pyramid of Menkaure)!. But there are more than these three at the Giza Complex!. There are three pyramids to the east of the Great Pyramid which are of considerably smaller size, three Queen's Pyramids to the south of the Pyramid of Menkaure (also of a considerably smaller size, and which appear smaller than those by the Great Pyramid), and the smallest pyramid of all, the Subsidiary Pyramid to the south of the Pyramid of Khafre!. So that's ten pyramids at Giza (though only the Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure pyramids are generally recgonized since their the principle ones)!. Then there's about sixteen more pyramids at Saqqara, at least one one at Abu Rawash, at least two at Zawyet el'Aryan, at least seven at Abu Sir, at least twelve at Dahshur, at least two at Mazghuna, two major and a number of subsidiary at el-Lisht, one at Meidum, at least two at Hawara, and one at El-Lahun!. These are just a few of the total number of pyramids which is estimated at between 81 and 112!.

So figure on at least 151 tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens then another 81 to 112 pyramids!. Then you're talking between 232 and 263 tombs just for royalty!. We won't even begin talking about the tombs of the workers, priests, etc!. which would bring the number of tombs in Egypt well into the thousands!.

5!. Absolutely not!. Remember that 63 known in the Valley of the Kings!? That's including two new tombs found this year!. Egyptologists are still uncovering new tombs!. When Howard Carter discovered Tut's tomb no one believed there was one to be discovered where Tut was buried except Carter!. Basically folks can't say there are no new tombs to be discovered because one never knows what a particular spot might hide!.

6!. Absolutely!. In fact jewlers have been doing it for years!. Folks are willing to buy designs reminiscent of those Ancient Egyptians wore at a price they can afford!. And now it's not only what can be afforded, but also the fact that what is legitimate to own as actual artifacts belong to Egypt!.

7!. NO, the things are not yours!. Many archeologists in the past were little more than tomb robbers themselves, either keeping or selling what they found (or handing it over to their backers to keep, which was basically selling their services to retrieve these objects for their backers)!. Egypt's history was being shiped out of the country for a long time!. Today anything found in Egyptian tombs belongs to Egypt and is to be placed in a museum!.

8!. Don't know!.

9!. Well, there are modern silicone busts of how he mayhave appeared in life!. National Geographic included one on a recent cover!. http://news!.nationalgeographic!.com/news/!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
