Question: Is taxes what mainly caused the outbreak of the American Revolution!?
For example, would you say that things such as the Sugar Act and the Intolerable Acts/Coercive Acts led to the outbreak of the War of Independence!? Or was it other factors!?

Those are some main factors yes!. Remember the american cry, "No taxation without representation!"!? Basically the British government was treating the colonies like a source of revenue, not caring about its denizens whatsoever!.

The brits didn't allow the colonies to use their own form of currency!. They were issued british bank notes with high interest rates on them!.
