Most people today think being Gothic is weird, bad and unaccpetable!. Personally, I don't think Gothic=bad, but when people think of something bad, they call them , "Barbarians/barbaric!." So, from the stereotypical weird emo guy, they got assigned the name Gothic!. This is similar to Vandals!. The Vandals and Goths were both barbarians tribes that had pieces of the Roman Empire!. Today, a Vandal is guy who breaks stuff!.

The Goth culture today doesn't have much to do with the Goth tribe!. It's more about the Gothic novels of the 19th century!. Authors like Sheridan LeFanu and, of course Bram Stoker!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
