In Germany WW2 did not finally end until 1994 when the last Soviet troops left under the provisions of with "Treaty on the settlement with respect to Germany!. Although the Western powers had concluded a formal treaty with West Germany in 1948/9ish!. Finland, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania were technically at war until the ratification of the Paris Peace Conference in 1947!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The Soviet Union abolished Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact and launched war against Japan on August 8, 1945!. Although Japan surrendered on August 15, 1945, the Soviet Union continued the invasion into Japan and the battles did not cease until September 2!.
