Question: A question for those who dont believe in lost ancient civilisations in prehistory !.!.!.!?
Then how do you explain similarities and 'coincidences' in ancient cultures throughout known history, ones that according to traditional thought had no contact!.

Similarities such as pyramid structures in Egypt, China, Japan, South America, etc!.

Similarities such as EVERY culture and civilisation having shared mythologies and legends (which I believe were all rooted in historical memory and fact) such as the flood myth!?

These are just examples, Im sure you can all think of others, but what do you think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no way that seperate ancient cultures developed independently from each other and could have as many similarities as they do without having a shared history, a shared past that influenced them before they went on to develop independently!. To the answerer who said the pyramid is the easiest geometric form to construct on a grand scale with less materials, why would ancient cultures be concerned with ease of construction and lack of materials when half the point was to construct a GRAND monument and show off! And to the answerer who said most cultures could appreciate the effects of a flood, I think that there was a dramatic flooding of many cultures throughout the world after the thawing of the last great ice age that lived in the memory and stories of later cultures that built themselves up and became myths and legends of the great flood that destroyed nations!. Pyramids are easy to construct as long as plenty of cheap labour is available and can be built to very large sizes quite easily!. It's an obvious way for early societies to build large, impressive structures as temples or monuments!.

The flood myth is likely to be based on a folk memory of the end of the last Ice Age, when lots of flooding would have occurred due to ice melt!. This, of course, would have been world-wide!.

Many cultures have a sky-god myth in which a notable god dies and is reborn - the Egyptians had Osiris, the Vikings had Odin, and of course Europe has Christ!. This is an example of what's known as a mythic archetype - there are, I'm sure, many more such examples!.

I do believe in lost ancient civilisations, but your questions have little to do with proving or disproving them!.
The pyramid structure is stable and easier to construct than a cube, needing less materials!.
The flood myth is universal, because every country can appreciate the effects of being swamped by water!.
If I can provide two cultures which do not share one particular legend, does your argument fall apart!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you have to accept that Science feeds us a lot of misinformation, mainly posited over a hundred years ago!. There was much more trade and contact between races thousands of years ago than they want us to believe!. Why!? I wonder!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

people did travel, on foot, and by sea, those people perhaps took their ideas, beliefs along with them to new lands!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

People have much less freedom of belief than they imagine!. They just believe what they're told!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe the aliens did it!Www@QuestionHome@Com
