There is still some debate about the origins of the human race but we are pretty sure that the different features common to each race are as a result of adaptation to regional climates!. White people do not need to protect themselves from strong sunlight and need to be able to absorb as much vitamin D as poss hence the pale skin, darker skinned people general come from areas with stronger sunlight!. Wide noses, narrow noses, thick set, long and willowy, it all depends on evolution and acclimatisation!. The origin of all races appears to be Africa, and we all migrated from there and changed into the distinct racial groups we know today, however, the modern world and interracial marriage/breeding is blurring these lines and in a few thousand years from now people will look slightly different again!. We are all related to each other and anyone who denys this is an idiot!. I am as white and British as you can get, but 5 generations ago my family were Sefardi Jews (arabs) and I am related to some very dark skinned people in Yemen, Bahrain, Iran and North Africa all of whom we can prove family connections within 5 generations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com There is a point in time that occurred somewhere between 5 and 15 thousand years ago that is called the identical ancestry point (IAP)!. At the IAP there was somewhere between less than 1 to 25 million people on the planet!. At all points in time before the IAP every person alive on the planet has a line of descent that either dies out, or they are the ancestor of every single person alive today (from every continent, from every race, from pygmies to the Queen of England)!. ------------------------------- So we are all descended from the same group of people, sometime around the end of the last ice age!. ------------------------------- The original skin colors of the human race is dark, but mutations with the white skin occurred (even today in Africa this occurs)!. When people migrated out of Africa to latitudes with less sunlight this mutation proved to be valuable as it aided in Vitamin D synthesis!. It became the dominant type of skin in Europe!. -------------------- There are some indigenous people who live in northern latitudes that retained their dark skin!. They are mostly in Alaska (Inuit) and in Siberia!. These people are heavily reliant on fish in their diet which provided plenty of Vitamin D!. The mutation did not take hold!. -------------------- White skin is actually "see through skin"!. All human beings are mostly white underneath the top layer!. As we said earlier, the human race originally had dark skin!. The white skin mutation is a throwback to our furry pre-human ancestors!.
