Chesapeake was more of a cash cow in agriculture with rich English coming over with indentured servants!. New England was more of a mixture with French in Maine and Northern New York, and Dutch in NY, CT, and NJ!. also, N!.E!. was more of religious outcasts, not cash makers, or tobacco farmers!.
