I would suggest that you break the war down into some
smaller parts to study!. Begin with Japans expansion into China, then to Germany through chechoslovakia, Austria, Poland to the entrance of France and Russia, then go to the War in the Pacific, to war in Africa, Italy, then on to D day!. This will give you a chance to see what interests you!. In a different manner you could read a book on a specific battle in all of the different one to see what you thought!. The topic is very large!. Best of luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think this might work better for you, and it's free!.

Go here: http://newfreebooks!.com and click on web research!. You can first read about WW2 on the compressed time line, and then if you want to dig into any particular part there are articles there for that!. And moreover, the next link will take you to a website that can give you eyewitness accounts!.

I think that these two approaches will give you an excellent account of what was going on in WW2!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah!. I got most of my take on WWII from Herman Wouk's two great epic novels, The Winds of War and War and Rememberance!. The second is the sequal to the first!. Great reading -- they were my companions over one summer; they're about 1000 pages each!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
