Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: He was from France and lived in the 16th century!. He was a man who practiced some medicine and when his wife and children all perished in the Black Plague which killed a third of Europe, he developed a liking for astrology and the occult!. His predictions concerning his own country of France especially the death of Philip due to a jousting injury are partically accurate!. The one thing that can be said about Nostradamus is this if he knew when all the evil described in his books were to come true and he did not warn us precisely then he was the most evil man that lived!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Nostradamus was a Frenchman who lived around the time of the "Black Plague" in Europe!. He supposedly healed people sick with the plague, and predicted the king's death in a joust!. He also supposedly predicted Hitler and Saddam Hussein!.
