1919 Arab Rebellion in Egypt
1920 British East Africa formally becomes Kenya (still a colony)
1922 Egypt gains independence
1923 Rhodesia becomes a Self Governing Colony
1924 Northern Rhodesia becomes a Protectorate
1926 Dominion Status given to Self Governing Colonies (including South Africa)
1931 Statute of Westminster gives Dominions control over their own Parliaments
1934-1936 Rebels in Ghana suppressed
