I thought about that some time ago and decided to read up on WWI!.

I never knew!.!.!.

The black hand!? All that stuff!.

I've been several different schools so it cannot be blamed on just the area or school system!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We learned about it, but WWII was always more 'popular' because of the great Nazi threat, which, at the time I was in school, provided a handy parallel for the "Red Threat" of Communist Russia, though that government was crumbling in the 1980s and eventually fell completely!.

The Black Hand!.!.!.yes, a nice little bit of history that gets left out most of the time!.

My daughter is in high school now, and she and her classmates got a fuller education about WWI, its origins and the background of the Black Hand group!.

WWl like the Korean War are wars that were glossed over, not very popular and it could be said that they were wars we were dragged into out of obligation!. WWll is referred by some as the last "good" war, the fight against Nazi tyranny!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I remember learning about WWI!. How can you study WWII and not have studied WWI!? WWI set up WWII!. It devastated and humiliated Germany!. It seemed unfair if I remember correctly!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
