My English professor has asked us to pick 5 historical events as possible topics for a paper!. I need something that I can research easily, but that isn't extremely overdone!. Any suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I saw a really cool story on PBS about the Atocha!. It is a ship that was carrying Spanish silver that sank in a hurricane somewhere around the Florida Keys!. It was VERY intereseting! The remains, and the treasure was found a few years ago, but it dates back to the 1600's I believe!. Very interesting to say the least!

Check out the show that is on Public TV weekly called History Detectives!. They always have interesting stories, and ones that are very important to history, but aren't necessarily well known!. It's a great show!Www@QuestionHome@Com

1) The Nixon era creation of the DEA, for the "War on Drugs!." that we are soooooo NOT winning!.

2) The similarities of the current government events, e!.g!. the "alleged" 9/11 attacks from "terrorists", invading Urasia, compared to Germany and the creation of the 3rd Reich!.!.!.that's right, Fascism, NAZIs, and the race for One World Superpower and Earth's natural resources!

4) The current economy tanking, and the future!.!.!.based on World Wars being used to revive the economy, however this War on Oil may NEVER END, therefore we won't see a boost, just more debt and death!. :(

5) also, George Dubya lifting UN sactions on North Korea and buddying up to Kim Jon Il!.!.!.WTF!?!!?

I guess if you actually read, and care about more than Hanna Montana and all of the other celebrity crap that TV pushes on us, then these should be some A+ papers!.!.!.
