History?

Question: Questions about Cistercian Monks / History!?

I'm planning to join a historical re-enactment group and need some information about the clothing of a Cistercian monk circa 1200 AD!. I'm aware of the white robe with black scapular, but was the hood black or white!? Was the hood part of the scapular or part of the robe or a separate piece of clothing!? Heck what if there was no hood at all! Thanks for the help!.
