In 1770, James Sinkler received a land grant!. He built his plantation " Belvidere" on part of the land and later gave his son William part of the land!. In 1808, William built a plantation on his land and called it " Eutaw!." There was a spring (underground water source) located on Eutaw Plantation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
