The countries you mentioned were once world powers that were a threat to the rest of the world!. Europe spent over 1000 years in an attempt to contain these countries and in the end were successful!. The thing is, without a central leader to lead all of these countries with an iron fist, the different ethnic groups will be at each others throats!. I have also noticed that any country colonized by Spain is a third world country!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are on about oil, none of those countries had any idea it was there till Europeans or Americans came along!. All of them were backward before!. Kuwait was a mud fort, so was Riyadh in present day Saudi!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
