I am guessing it has to do with British Army history!. What do they mean by "falling of the barracks"!? What country did it happen in!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a roster of British soldiers killed in fighting in India in the battles listed at the very bottom!.

The barracks collapse sounds like just that, the building they were living in fell on them!. The names in blue correspond to the names listed under 50th foot barracks collapse!. So I imagine they did all die in that accident!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It happened in Ludhiana, India!.

The barracks, rather, the living quarters!.!.!.!.there were women and children present, possibly but not likely, families of British soldiers!.!.!.!.!.simply collasped, and buried them, killing around 90 people!.

So, around 100 people were killed/wounded!.

These were all enlisted personnel and possibly some of their family members, no officers!.

The list ONLY covers the enlisted Soldiers that were killed or wounded!.
They are the only ones that had offical identification numbers, as you see on the left side!.
There is no account of how many women or children were killed in the incident!.!.!.!.or how many Local Indians were killed in it!.
Locals, especially women and children were always employeed by soldiers in matters of laundry, serving, care of equiptment, cooking, valets, etc!.

I'd say your best bet on the women and children that were killed/wounded were most likely Locals in service to the barracks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
