his battle to 'Kill the Bank' meaning Bank of the United States!. He hated it and didn't renew the charter!.

also the big scandal about his wife, it was rumored she wasn't divorced from her previous husband before they married!.

Not to mention his version of democracy, commonly known as Jacksonian Democracy which brought voting to the common man!. Before Jackson men had to own property or be a merchant, after Jackson, there were little or no property qualifications!.

Someone also mentioned his fierce fights with the Native Americans and he is responsible for the Trail of Tears, but he also refused to obey the decisions of the Supreme Court which made the power issue between the president and the courts a big deal!.

Then there is that little thing called the "Nullification Crisis" when SC attempted to secede due to a tarriff they were not particularly in favor of!.
