Question: Which Nationalist did Mao Zedong replace as leader of China in 1949!?

I think they were forced to flee to Taiwan when the Communists took over, I cant find out the name of the leader though!.

Chiang Kai Shek!. Technically, both Mao Zedong's Communist People's Republic of China and Chiang Kai Shek's Republic of China clam authority over China!. However, the Republic of China is generally called "Taiwan!."
