If you live in Georgia, they might stress that this was a relatively new colony at the time of the Revolution, and the Georgians really thought they had no choice but to join the Revolution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In the mid 1990's, a national set of standards were established to unify how World History and US History!. Although the standards were attacked by conservative groups, the standards remain intact and can be found at the National Center for History in the Schools website (based out of UCLA and headed by Gary Nash) Www@QuestionHome@Com

When I was growing up (in serious BFE south) there was a hint that "the south" should've made it's own way then!. (Right after independence!.)

So when I hear super goofy stuff like that still going in BFE, it's disappointing, but not surprising!.
