First of all all the Pilgrams on the Mayflower were Puritans!.

The Puritans were followers of John Calvin who founded Prysbeterianism!.

The Puritans broke away from the England's state religion of Anglicanism which made them heretics and a danger to the Kingdom, so King James had them hanged, burned, and promised to 'harry them out of this land!."

The British Puritans/Prysberterians boarded the ship MAYFLOWER in 1620, departed England and arrived during the winter of 1620 to Plymouth Massachusetts, where 55 (half of them) died that first winter!.

The issue with the Puritans and the Anglican Church was the issue between John Calvin's Presbertyrianism and Anglicanism!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
