Jefferson-People weren't very happy with Adams, and the Federalist party was losing steam!.!.!.!.!.so they went with a new face, Jefferson!.

Jackson-He was popular for his victory at New Orleans in the War of 1812 and he represented the common man!.

Lincoln-The North had a lot more people than the south and all the Northern states(except for half of NJ I believe) supported him!.

T!. Roosevelt-People knew him as one of the Rough Riders from the Spanish-American War, and he had done a nice job as governor of New York!.

F!. Roosevelt-People wanted a change from Hoover whom they blamed for getting them into the depression!. They thought FDR could get them out!. He did!.

JFK-He served in WWII and promised change for the country, a little bit like Obama is now!.
