Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The Battle of Lexington took place in Lexington Massachusetts, April 19, 1775!. It wasn't much of a battle, just a few shots exchanged by colonists and British soldiers, but it started the American Revolutionary War!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first shots of the battle of Lexington and Concord occurred in Lexington, MA!. From there the British advanced to Concord where they were repulsd by a larger colonial militia and the "short heard round the world" was fired!. From that point on it was a running battle with colonial militia firing upon the British as they retreated back to Boston!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're talking about the one from the American Revolutionary War then the answer is Lexington, Massachusetts (it took place on the same day as the Battle of Concord which is located in the same county as the aforementioned Lexington, MA)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
