A winged female figure in Ancient Egyptian art usually represents Isis, Nephthys, or Ma'at!. If there had been a symbol on her head, it would have been clearer who was represented: Ma'at wears a feather!. Isis wears a stylized throne -- sort of an L-shaped design -- or sometimes a pair of horns and a sun disc, more frequently found in later periods when she became more and more associated with Hathor!. Nephthys has a headdress that combines a bowl shape above a rectangle, which represents the title "Lady of the House" (Nebet-Het)!. The links under "Sources" have pictures of each of these!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is not a hieroglyph but an image , possibly of a goddessWww@QuestionHome@Com
