Most of the good stuff can be found in your local library!. I suggest you check them out!. The internet is overrated when it comes to looking for detail info like this!.

Piracy among the European kingdoms and colonies started with Spanish galleons carrying gold and silver from their newly acquire South American colonies during the 1500s!. Later on, war broke between the Spanish and the English!. The English hired privateers to plunder these galleons of their gold and silver as they return to Spain!. Eventually, private criminals took up the practice and soon began targeting the vast amount of merchant shipping happening between the European kingdoms and their new colonies!. Hotspots for piracy were the Caribbeans (West Indies) and the British areas of the Indian Ocean (East Indies)!.

There's a lot more stuff I can tell you, but its best for you to check the library first!. If you're stuck, you may email me with your questions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
