c - Single income, two-parent families (just dad works) more common!.
Typically, two children - families with one child, or even four, were considered 'wierd!.' Higher drop-out rate!. Children left home at 20 or so, married or not - If a guy still at home by age 25, he'd be called (as an insult) a h!.!.!.!.(You fill in the blanks!.)
Gays having life-partners was rarely discussed; gays adopting children were absolutely forbidden, and a forbidden topic of conversation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Everyone is saying C, but I think D!. I think MORE people chose to live alone as a conscious choice and that the birthrate did not risbut dropped due to an increase in access to abortion clinics!.

During the 70s, we had our first "energy crunch" and people lined up for miles to get gas, eventually leading to some places having odd and even systems -- if you had a license plate that ended with an even number, you could only get gas on even numbered days!. Another measure attempted to save energy was to "Spring forward and Fall back" TWO hours!. I don't remember the reasoning behind this!.

Multi-plexes were still a few years in the future and certain blockbuster hits -- Jaws, Star Wars -- had lines, sold out houses, and "held over - 3rd big week" advertising!. TV had three networks -- ABC, NBC, and CBS -- maybe PBS!. HBO was still a few years out!. And the government kept ignoring this "little disease" that had cropped up, referred to as GRID, gay-related immune disorder, or the "gay cancer" because AIDS as we now know it began around 1976 and seemed to target only gays, Haitians, and hemophiliacs!.
