It affected England and the colonies in a good way because before the Glorious Revolution, King Charles II was ruling, and he had put Governor Edmund Andros in charge of the colonies!. At first, everyone thought the new king would be good because the former king, Charles I, which was the brother of Charles II, had pretty much made life horrible!. They weren't allowed to do so many things, and mercantilism was enforced!. Unfortunately, Charles II made sure that mercantilism was enforced as fully as possible and followed!. The colonists were no longer able to trade with other countries (smuggle), taxes were raised, and democracy and freedom of speech was taken away!.

Thanks to the Glorious Revolution, William and Mary came into power and things kind of got back to normal!. Sure, things like Leisler's Rebellion happened, but at least mercantilism was gone!.

I hope I helped!Www@QuestionHome@Com
