Question: Kosovo, South Ossetia and Abkhazia!?

Are there anyone else who sees the similarity!? Look at the roles of NATO and RUSSIA!. Both intending to protect a majority of citizens on a piece of disputed land area within a sovereign nation where these citizens are a minority!.

I would not be surprised if we see the formation of two new nations in the area within a few years time!. Do the West have any right to criticize Russia since we basically stole Kosovo from the sovereign nation of Serbia!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, while we're at it, let's include Chechnya in the discussion too!. The US stayed out of Russia's affair where Chechnya is concerned!. South Ossetia and Abhazia are not looking for Independence, but rather to rejoin Russia!. Both regions were part of Georgia during the USSR and have been viewed as part of Georgia ever since!. Russia has yet to build its case as to why they should not remain part of Georgia!. There is much speculation, accusations and the like!. Kosovo was able to build a case for independence!. I wouldn't comment on how that develops really, because for some reason over govt is reluctant to declare they consider those regions as separate states; but comments such as "Kosovo for Kosovo", and reply to Bush's "inappropriate in XXI cenrury" such as "good thing the USA bombed Yugoslavia in the XX-th!", were made in some Russian forums/chats!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
