Don't forget that there were Celts in Galatia, the interior of Asia Minor!. St Paul made enough converts there to write a letter to them!. The Acts of the Apostles show there were synagogues in most towns there!.
(The Khazar story is grossly exaggerated, by antisemites among others!. DNA analysis of Ashkenazi (Russian, Polish, etc) Jews shows that they are from the same stock as Shephardic (Spanish and Middle Eastern) Jews!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Diaspora happened in 70 ad, after Rome had conquered the Celts in Britain, Gaul (modern France), and Spain!. During the Diaspora, some Jews would have gone to major cities in the Celt areas, such as Marsillia (Marseille), Taragonna, Barcelona, or Lyon!.

You might be thinking about blonde Jews (since many Celts are blonde); these were Khazars, a tribe that moved from Russia to Spain during medieval times and became (very rare event, since Jews dont't proselityze) converted as a nation to Judaism!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
