during the student protest/sit in in Tianamen Square, the kids decided to have contests!. "Lets build floats and sculptures representing our hopes for China" type of thing!. Some built Buddhas, some Confucius's, some dragons, some modern buildings!.

The winner of the contest was a 1/10 replica of the statue in New York harbor called "Liberty Lighting the World"!.

The Chinese leaders freaked!.

In came the tanks!.

3,000 plus died that day!.

and we do business with these people!?

On the 4th of June, the army entered the square, killing more than 3,000 people!. After the Tiananmen Square massacre the pro-democracy movement was ruthlessly supressed!.
