ancien regime was made up of the first second and third estates were, the first being the clergy, the second the wealthy and politicians, and the third the rest of the french!. it was basically the medival system of france's government!. the third estate was ninety something percent of France's population!. and the third estate was the only estate getting taxed, so they revolted and started the french revolution by making the national assmebly, and less than a month later storming and buring down the bastilleWww@QuestionHome@Com
