Renaissance - Re-birth / Re-discovery!.

Revolutionary for the education of 'common' people!.

Thanks to the adoption of standardised educational values, anyone with moderate income could be taught about things the church had previously classed as blasphemous!.

Galileo had proved the position of the Earth and Sun with telescope, mathematics and genius insight!.

DaVinci benefitted from the outpouring of knowledge that went before!.

Vocations (one job for life) were being supplemented by 'trader/merchant' and!.!.!.the other role!.

One of the most bizarre things, was that people were being allowed to have their portraits painted in perspective!. It was no longer the work of the devil to see images in 3D!. Music took a little longer!

Women were also allowed to be educated, possibly as a result of so many Royal lines ONLY having daughters left at the end!

Definitely revolutionary, possibly like the Internet today - you can't see it when you're in it!

Art and invention were making leaps and bounds during that period!. War was causing fast evolution of construction techniques in both castles and weaponry!. Artists in Europe were stretching the bounds of "acceptable" instead just painting the same thing everybody else did just because that's what they were taught!. Styles of dress went from plain and simple to flamboyant practically overnight as fabrics became cheaper!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes!. the renaissance brought enlightenment!. the humanistic revival of classical art, architecture, literature, and learning that originated in italy in the 14th century and later spread through europe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The word "renaissance" literally means "re-birth"!. So yes, one would expect it to be quite revolutionary from a knowledge standpoint!. Europe was coming out of the dark ages and into an age of learning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
