i read some books,i knew many girls were forced to serve their enemies in WW2 by japanese !.i can't imagine how much they had suffered in other wars,did this miserable tragic still exist!?i mean sex slaves,not those girls got raped and then be killed if so,i would feel very sorryWww@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: yeah i was oneWww@QuestionHome@Com Throughout history soldiers have always wanted/needed women to provide sexual services, whether in peacetime or at war!. When at war, raping of the local women would provide momentary "sport"!. Wha seems to have evolved was the "camp follower" concept!. This would be women, either outright prostitutes, or the unmarried partners of soldiers, who would follow along behind an army as it marched!. Who would serve as camp followers!? In some cases, women from the same countries as the soldiers, who had followed them along!. In others, local prostitutes!. In some cases, women who had been raped, and /or left homeless due to the tides of war!. This left them few options but prostitution or starvation!. So technically they were not enslaved, but choose freely!. In the last few centuries, certain armies and nations began recognising the advantages of keeping their soldiers "happy"!. The Germans, for one, tended to set up brothels where they could inspect the women and ensure that the soldiers were kept relatively disease free!. In some cases service in these brothels were voluntary!. In others, women were forced into servive, especially in the second world war!. The japanese use of "comfort women" seems to have set the extreme for maintaining sex slaves!. Does it happen today!? Almost certainly!. Even UN troops have been accused of sex crimes in Africa, forcing women (and children) into sexual relationships in trade for supplies meant for them anyways!. With the many little wars going on over the world, and without a change in human nature in the last couple of generations, it's a given that both "casual' rape, and systematic enslavement of people for sexual purposes is ongoing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com the nazis also had field brothels made of kidnapped women, usually czech or polish the western allies unoficially had brothels in ww2, but these were more or less volunteers!. the french have had a reputation going back to napolean bonaparte to keep women in the field!. some units had their own girls!. during the civil war, washington, dc was a brothel town, with as many sex workers as government workers!.
