It will be Israel that will attack Iran if anyone does!. And no, the Russians won't join in!. This attack will probably happen, and it will be a quick air strike!. It would be over with before the Russians woke up!. And in a conventional war between the Russians and the Israelis, I'd put my money on the Israelis!. China is not currently developed militarily to be much help to anyone for the time being!. That will change, but for now--no!. Their military showed its ineptitude during the recent earthquake in Sechwan!.Www@QuestionHome@Com China and Russia have their own problems, but don't expect China to support the US in any aggression, much least one that involves Russia indirectly!. It's very unlikely that the US will attack Iran!. It would be one of the stupidest things this government has ever done (and that's saying something)!. We're stretched too thin militarily as it is, and Dick Cheney won't have to time to start a war before leaving office!. Www@QuestionHome@Com In the past these two giants China and Russia have had each others backs but times have changed!. I don't think the Chinese would back them up!. They are too busy with there own country with population, olympics, trade, growing business to wage war or to help the Russians!. The thing with Iran is complicated because Russia is building two nuclear facilities for them and when Russia says heel Iran heels to them!. As with that the Chinese are friendly with the Iranians as well so waging war against Iran is impossible in the U!.N!. casue there both permanent powers and can veto a resolution for waging war aginst the Iranians!. Plus were too busy with Iraq and Afghanistan to fight Iran not even to mention helping Georgia which is being attacked as I type!. However, there will be no war between the the US and the Russians as both sides realize the dangers in such a war as well as the danger of the new Super Power China represents to both sides!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The US is unlikely to attack Iran as they have increased business with Iran by a factor of 10 from something like 40 to 400 billion dollars in trade!. Kinda stupid to shoot a goose that craps crude oil during an energy crisis!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Russia and China have had some pretty severe disagreements in their time, especially over territory!.
