Question: What is the name of the Fashion Style from 17th/18th century with Top Hats n Coat Tails!.!.
Best examples I can think of is the Whisky brand Johnnie Walker, its logo!.!.!.And the character Daniel Day Lewis plays in the movie 'Gangs of New York'!.!.!.

They have Top Hates, Coats with Tails, tight white pants, knee high boots, (usually have sideburns n all that, even though thas nothin to do with the clothing)

Can anyone help me with that this style is called, and where best to get images of it!.!.!.!?

You're probably thinking of the Regency period (in England)!. The fashions would be of the very early 1800s (as in first link)!.

Edit: "The Gangs of New York", I see, takes place in 1840 and then 1860!. Here are two sites:

In England, that would be Victorian times; to narrow it down, "Early Victorian" and "Mid Victorian"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know if that style has a name, apart from the time period!.!.!. turn of the 19th century, early 1800s!.!.!. If you look just 25 years earlier things looked much different (very british colonial) but in the 1880s it made a comeback!.

I don't think it's Aesthetic, or Edwardian!.!.!.
