Question: If any pirate was captured by the Royal Navy would he/she always be given a trial!?
I mean in the 1800's, I don't know if all pirates that were captured were given a trial before a jury and judge before they were hung!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it realy depends on the time from 1792-1827 no they would do mass hangings on anyone associated twith or acchused of being a pirate

Of course they were given a trial - the Royal Navy may have been harsh, but it was fair, and legal!.
