Supposedly around 2300BCE, though there are people who will date it up to a thousand years before, The problem with this of course is that it means that people were literally breeding like rabbits!. And that the pyramids were built by a few hundred people,!.!.!.
If one looks to the Black Sea theory of the Great Flood, then the event would have been pushed back by over 5000 years!. The advantage of this theory is that it firstly would have meant more than 8 survivors in the world, and yet was a catastrophic enough event over a large enough area for distorted memories to be transmitted down through history!.
Or you can simply take it for what the story is, a myth created by a primitive people millenia ago!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
