There was no America until the colonies started, which was NOT right after 1492!. Ponce de Leon would have been in what is now Florida, first so look that up!. Spanish colonized what is now California and other areas in the Southwest, and there are pictures and comments on the missions that were built up the California coast!. The English didn't arrive until the 17th century!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
