Question: A question about Billy the kid

I was looking on wikipedia about facts of him!. Saying how many people he killed and whether he was left or right handed no one knows what is the correct facts!. When he died he was 21 and his friends lived till the late 1920s so i was thinking didn't people too ask the people who he was friends with!.

This is called "Monday morning quarterbacking", or "hindsight is 20-20" type reasoning!. If they did not get any statistics down then, for whatever reason, it is a bit late now, isn't it!? Regardless, though apparently Wikipedia does not have the information, from other sources it does seem clear he was left-handed!. Regarding the deaths, you surely realize that nobody kept any good statistics then, including the individuals themselves, who often did not count native Americans as valid "kills"!? I doubt if anyone could give a truly accurate count of the killings of any of the major players of the middle 19th century in the United States, and that would include the ones who were always on the side of the law, like Wild Bill Hickok, John Wesley Hardin, or Dave Mather, who were often officers of the law in the Old West!. John Wesley Hardin was credited (!?) with 21 deaths, but any that occurred during non-public interchanges in the outcountry, and never even were reported, would not have been counted!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
