I hope this helps!. Good Luck!.

I went to one of the top rated academic high schools in the US (according to the ratings)!.

My Freshman year (9th grade) I studied AP US History!. Most students studied regular US History!.

Sophomore year (10th grade), the curriculum was World History or AP World History!.

Junior and Senior year (11th and 12th grade), we had the option of taking European History or AP European History!. But it was only a option!.

In history classes a student learns nothing, but is taught what the teacher believes!. What you choose to believe is up to you!.

EDIT
World history is commonly taught, if you want to know reality try finding a book from Amazon, if you want an "A" in the class ask someone who already had the class from the same teacher as you are going to have and ask them for their previous exams!. This is A VERY COMMON PRACTICE IN UNIVERSITY CLASSES - REALLY!!!! Their are frats and sororities that have tests going back years from professors who thaught a class!. I wish someone had told me this prior to taking my freshmen year classes many moons ago!. I always wondered how so many of my "friends" did so well on exams when they hardly ever studied!. Live and learn!. This is probably the best piece of advice I could ever give anyone when it comes to taking exams!. GET SOMEONE WHO ALREADY WENT THROUGHT IT AND THEY CAN TELL YOU WHAT THE TEACHER / PROF WANTS!!!!!!! TRUST ME ON THIS - IT IS THE TRUTH!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are taking US History then you learn about US!. As far as I can tell, it is required to pass US His!. class before you can graduate from High school at least that was the case during my days in your "USA"!.

If you are taking World Culture then you learn about World History!. LOTS of good things about Mahatma Gandhi!. We even watched Gandhi movie in my World Culture class with Mr!. Tenny!!!!
