Colonists complained about taxation without representation: the Stamp Act, the Tea Act (which led to the Boston Tea Party)!.

How many Americans killed is too many!? Colonists certainly expressed their disgust with the British Judicial system, the invasion of private property without due cause, trials without due process!.

The colonies were given rights, up to a point!. All of their rights were trumped by the will of the King, leading to the opening line: "that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights" and then enumerating all the various ways the King violated those rights!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
