Question: What was the reason for Kennedy's assassination!?
What was the reason for the assassination!? To me it looks pretty clear that after Diem's murder and coup by the generals the murder of Kennedy was to prevent the American forces to leave South Vietnam!. Thus Vietcong and North Vietnam and communism would have been unleashed to do whatever they wanted to!. "The cornerstone of U!.S!. policy was the Domino Theory!. This argued that if South Vietnam fell to communist forces, then all of South East Asia would follow!. Popularized by the Eizenhower Administration, some argued that if communism spread unchecked, it would follow them home reaching Hawaii and follow to the West Coast of the United States!. it was better, therefore, to fight communism in Asia, rather than on American soil!."

Your theory is pretty weak considering American forces were not engaged in combat in 1963 not to mention the fact that South Vietnam was not as crazy about the U!.S!. being there as some people think!. The South Vietnamese never really fought that hard to keep out the communists since the government they already had in place was hardly a democracy and they felt that it was better to be ruled by communists than to starve under the regime they had!.

Anyone who thinks the mob had anything to do with it doesn't know much about the history of the mob!. Dutch Schultz was a big time mobster whose killing was ordered because he planned to kill Thomas Dewey, the District Attorney of New York!. If a man was killed because the mob didn't want the D!.A!. killed how likely is it that they would authorize the president's assassination!?

There has never been any evidence that anyone but Oswald killed Kennedy yet these conspiracy theories just don't stop because proof is not needed or desired!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are many conspiracies theories that will facsinate us for ever domino effect, mafia connections, cold war with Russia the Cuban crisis which put America at the treshold of melt down!. Maybe he was just too popular, smiled alot from camelot people were jealous of his powerWww@QuestionHome@Com

The C!.I!.A!. with the help of the Mafia killed JFK!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your first answerer is the typical conspiracy theorist, albiet with a lack of knowledge of the historic events of the day!.

There may have been many reasons the Kennedy's had been targeted!.!.!. if you remember, it wasn't just JFK who was killed!; First off, Joe Kennedy, JFK's father, had amassed his family fortune by illegally running booze, during prohibition!.!.!. (no one seems to bring this well known fact, up, when discussing "Americas Royal family", as they are often called!.), Joe had to have gotten involved with some shady and powerful mob characters, during this time!.!.!. Later, Joe got himself into politics, and held US Ambassador positions, during the early 1900's!.

Joe had wanted big things for his oldest son, Joe Jr!. but he was KIA in WWII, trying to one up his younger brother John, after he had gotten decorated from the PT incident, (read up on it, if you don't know what I mean)!. After Joe Jr was killed, John stepped into his shoes, and it was his father who orchestrated his bid for the white house!.!.!. here's where it gets interesting; old man Joe was buying votes for his son's election!.!.!. that too is a fact; in fact, there was a joke going around at the time that goes; "what's a Kennedy campaign button look like!? A $20 bill!"

Joe Kennedy put himself, and inadvertently his son, in the pocket of the Mafia; when JFK was elected, he appointed his brother (fresh out of law school, with no experience as a lawyer) as attorney general! Out to prove he was a "real" lawyer, Robert decided he was going after organized crime!.!.!. Again, no one seems to want to bring this up; it's easier to blame the government, the CIA or whatever!.!.!. typical!

Simply put; A criminal got rich, got himself, and his sons into politics, and crossed other, more ruthless criminals, after they made deals with them!.!.!. and they paid for it!Www@QuestionHome@Com
