The towns were usually next or in the military base!. Or american troops lived in old British barracks or barracks were built!.Www@QuestionHome@Com They also made extensive use of a prefabricated steel building originally developed in the First World War, the famous 'Nissen Hut'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Not sure but i would say either tents or hot bunking (two or 3 people on differnet watches useing the one bed)Www@QuestionHome@Com |
