Did people have walkways back in 1782?

Question: Did people have walkways back in 1782!?

I'm doing research for a novel that I am writing and need to know what people walked on in the cities!. Like, did they have concrete walkways or was it just dirt or pebble, etc!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was stone pathways/sidewalks!. And normally brick like in Boston!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
