Historical Macedonia is considered to be the realm of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great (4th century BC), only 10 percent is currently in southwestern FYROM around Monastir, Bitola and toward the Ohrid lakes!.

So how can anyone say the FYROM was the western half!? More like the Northwestern 10%!.!.!.lol

There is no question that he was!. The ancient Macedonians spoke Greek!. Exhaustive research shows that linguistically and culturally, the ancient Macedonians were Greek tribes!. All inscriptions found in Macedonia dating from before the advent of the Romans are Greek, as are the names of peoples and their gods!. The names Philip and Alexander derive from Greek words!. Strictly speaking, no!.

Although the ancient Macedonians were of Dorian stock, a people who like the rest of the Hellenistic Greeks were cousins to the semites of the middle east, culturally, they were separate from Greece proper!. The Macedonians were a sister tribe of the Dorians who would go on to become Leonida's Spartans!. Originally peaceful, they only became warlike from their contact with hostile Celtic tribes in that part of the balkans!.

Amazing how those damned celts just seem to bring out the worst of everyone they came in contact with but, moving on!.!.!.!.!.

Genetically speaking, like the rest of ancient Greeks, the Dorians of Macedonia, were cousins to the semites like I said, but, isolation from Greece, for many centuries, led to the development of its own distinct culture!. Modern Macedonians are a mixture of the ancient Dorians with slavic and gothic elements thrown in!. So are modern Greeks actually!.

However, in recent years Macedonians have complained bitterly about the fact that history texts write that ancient Macedonia and ancient Greece were one and the same when they were not!. That is the same thing as saying that Saudi Arabia and Turkey are exactly the same just because they are right next to each other, and as everyone knows, that just isn't so!. Ancient Macedonia was as different from Greece, as Turkey is from Iraq, the only commonality being the pantheon of gods, or as in Iraq and Turkey the same religion however, even Turkey has its own traditions!.

The Macedonians for instance, still worshiped the primeval Titans, whereas the Greeks worshiped the Olympians!. Not only that but they even had their own set of gods!.

As to my country; I am an Iraqi Jew, born in Honduras, currently living in the United States very much against my will mind, I am a prisoner here, and I would like to go home to my family!.

Well!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. given my ethnic origin, my parent's marriage was arranged so what the hell do you mean "why!?"

I get sick of white supremacist bullcrap, that's why!. As I posted in another answer, it is of ABSOLUTE importance, what ethnicity, what race, the ancient Greeks were because the truth, can turn the views on middle easterners, and the entire western world, on its head!. It would help eradicate the idea of white superiority and supremacy for all time!.

It is of utmost importance because white supremacy is the reason my people live in misery in Israel; ashkenazi Jews, are white supremacist, thinking the European in them makes them superior, when all they truly excell at is lying, killing, and when these things don't work, running away like screaming little girls!.

also; the greatest conqueror in the western world, Alexander the Great, was a general, far surpassing any generals the west has produced since!. Not Caesar, not Scipio, not Trajan, not Boudica god rest her soul for the what the Romans did to her, not Wellington, not Napoleon, not General Robert E!. Lee arguably the greatest U!.S!. general ever, not one of them, was a match for Alexander the Great!.

Alexander the great, also, was mixed; his mother Olympias was rumored to have been a Thracian, or an outright slavic "barbarian" actually, hence the man's lighter skin pigmentation!. The Thracians were a branch of the Celts or Slavs, it was one of those people, but they were not related to middle easterners like the Greeks!. The Dorian peoples of Macedonia, conquered the entire Persian empire under Alexander's leadership!.

That is like someone taking roughly 1 million soldiers, the best, from armies across Latin America, and conquering the United States and Canada!. To put things into a modern perspective; if a general, of Alexander's caliber existed today, with 1 million men from throughout Latin America, their very best soldiers, he would conquer the U!.S!. and Canada!.

Ancient Persia in Alexander's time, was monstrously powerful!. When most generals destroy empires usually they just finish the job their corrupt leaders already started, what drew the attention and captured the imaginations of the ancients, and of course drew the attention of historians, was the fact that Alexander did it, when Persia was at the height of its power!. He fought, and beat them, when they were strong!.

True enough, Genghis Khan destroyed not one, but TWO empires, the Chinese and Persian but the reason he is not ranked on the same level as Alexander, is because of his vile cruelty!. The Mongols under Temujin (Genghis Khan) because just ran from the Pacific Ocean to Poland, and slaughtered everyone in their path!. Alexander on the other hand, took Greek culture and philosophy well beyond the borders of Greece!.

Had Alexander not destroyed Persia when he did, there may not even have been a Rome, and without Rome, not the ideas that ultimately brought forth the well-meaning but ultimately hypocritically followed U!.S!. constitution!.

Getting straight to the point to conclude; for all the above reasons, Macedonia is not Greek, and many modern Macedonians themselves will confirm what I have said!.

I am from Greece and of course it is Greek!
First of all Macedonia is a geographic appartment of Greece located in the north Greece!. http://www!.travelinfo!.gr/maps/macedonia!.!.!.!.
As you can see from the map the seperate country that wants to be called Macedonia is called F!.Y!.R!.O!.M and before this it was called Vardarska! Here are some videos about that issue because i am tired of trying to prove the OBVIOUS again and again!!!
