Recipes for braining a hide (tanning).?

Question: Recipes for braining a hide (tanning)!.!?

im trying to tan a deer hide but i dont know how to do the braining step, i need a recipe of how much brains i should use or an alternative to it all together!. i heard you could use table oil but i dont if thats like olive oil or what and i dont know how much to use!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
